The blades of the Satake Sakura series are made of stainless molybdenum-vanadium steel AUS-8 with a hardness of 56-58 HRC. This steel is very easy to sharpen and resistant to corrosion. The knife handle is made of metal with a durable ABS plastic insert, which fits perfectly in the hand and is also very resistant to scratches, moisture and high temperatures.
