During manufacture, ZANMAI REVOLUTION employs both modern and traditional methods. Revolutionary ten sided handle made from black laminated Pakka wood with special decorative rivet otherwise used for manufacture of musical instruments assures perfect balance of the knife. The handle was designed in such way that it looks like an ancient Japanese sword. On the other hand latest manufacturing methods were used for blade, which is constructed from three layers of powder steel SPG2 hardened to 62±1HRC. This method allows the material to have higher density as opposed to traditional manufacturing processes. Blade is finished with nickel silver alloy guard. This material is well known for its antibacterial and anticorrosion properties.
