Blade Grinding Attachment Work Sharp Ken Onion MK.2 turns your Work Sharp Ken Onion Mk.2 into a large belt sharpener! This extension extends the sharpener and gives you more control when sharpening knives. Larger sharpening straps measuring 2.5 cm x 45 cm, fully adjustable sharpening angles from 10° to 35° and three curved edge settings give you complete control over your knife sharpening.

What's new in the Work Sharp Ken Onion MK.2 sharpening attachment?

The sharpening attachment has undergone perhaps the biggest improvement of all the second generation Mk.2 products. The difference compared to the previous version is clearly visible.

The sharpening angle adjustment is now significantly better thanks to the rotating knob on the front panel, which allows for smooth angle adjustment. Installing or replacing the belt is also made easier by the larger screw locking lever. It can be locked in place, leaving both hands free to install the belt. Belt adjustment is easier and the large wheel now has three positions, allowing you to adjust the belt tension in the sharpening area. To reduce the camber angle, adjust the wheel to the tightest position.

At the back, on a vertical, straight surface, the belt will then move closer to the back surface. This allows you to sharpen the belt more stably for a better, straighter result. In addition, the support plate can be moved up or down as needed.

The Work Sharp blade sharpening attachment is equipped with sharpening belts with grit sizes: 120, 220, 1000, 3000 and 12000 grit.
