The main production facilities of the Swedish-Austrian concern Böhler - Uddeholm, famous and long-standing in metallurgical production, are located in Germany and Austria. Steel N690 is used for the production of various high-strength industrial tools, such as drills, milling cutters. One of the areas of application is the production of knives.
One of the most important properties of steel N690 is its high resistance to the appearance and spread of corrosion. Under normal conditions, a product made of this alloy is not subject to destructive processes. In this case, the hardness of the metal increases significantly.

N690 is used for the manufacture of knives and is considered one of the best materials for the manufacture of knives. Advantages of steel N690:
